We have been humbled by the many kind offers of support for our staff during this particularly demanding time. While we appreciate everyone’s kind thoughts and actions, we need to ensure that members of the public do not visit our hospital sites unnecessarily. This is to protect their own health, reduce the risk to our staff and patients, and to encourage everyone to follow the Government’s advice. Our staff are also focused on the response to Covid-19 and do not have the capacity to manage lots of ad-hoc donations.
Bags of Love for our staff
To support our staff, we are putting together ‘Bags of Love’ for our nurses, cleaners, porters, therapists, doctors and other staff. This initiative is partly in response to calls from the public asking how they can best show their support to the NHS.
