Once again the occupiers of Stockley Park did not disappoint in showing their support to the Topaz Midwifery Team at Hillingdon Hospital.
Stockley Park’s annual Christmas Donation Drive asked for items that can be used by new mums for either themselves or their newborn child. Donations came from all over the park and the management centre was swamped with baby grows and nappies!
Claire Watson, Lifestyle Manager, and Alex Jordan, Assistant FM, delivered the items to the hospital where members of the special team of midwives greeted them. The Topaz Team is made up of midwives who support ladies who have complex psychological and/or additional social needs throughout their pregnancy and postnatal period. A new mother in need was in the ward the day Claire and Alex visited so the team could not have been more grateful for the timely delivery.
“From all of us in the Topaz midwifery team, a huge thank you to all in the management team at Stockley Park Estates and the tenants on the park who donated so generously again to the women and families in our care. As you know, the cost of living is hitting all of us but even more so the most vulnerable people in our society. This will be such a help to our mothers enabling us to care beyond what NHS budgets can allow. Thank you all so very much.”
