Stockley Park’s commitment to sustainability and to its beautiful landscaped grounds has been highly rewarded this summer with the Park receiving recognition from the Green Flag AwardsGreen Apple AwardsBusiness Green Leaders Awards and London in Bloom.

The productive summer began with receiving a Green Flag Award for the third year in a row. The international Green Flag Award is run by the charity Keep Britain Tidy which sets the benchmark for excellence in recreational outdoor spaces across the United Kingdom and around the world. Now into its third decade, the Green Flag is a sign to visitors that Stockley Park boasts the highest possible environmental standards, is beautifully maintained and has excellent facilities.

This was followed by Stockley Park’s biodiversity project reaching the finals of the Business Green Leaders Award for Green Infrastructure Project of the Year and a Green Apple Award which acknowledges Stockley Park’s commitment to Environmental Best Practice.

The fantastic summer was rounded off by a Gold Award in the Business Landscape of the Year category from London in Bloom. London in Bloom aims to increase community involvement in caring for our environment and maintaining our precious Green Spaces and Stockley Park is pleased to be able to so successfully marry these aims with its own ideals.

Claire Watson, Lifestyle Manager at Stockley Park said

“We are elated to be so broadly recognised for our commitment to creating a sustainable and biodiverse setting of parklands, lakes and landscaped areas, which contributes so significantly towards the premier reputation that Stockley Park enjoys. Our parkland setting takes a lot of hard work throughout the year to keep it growing, blooming and evolving and these awards are a well-deserved tribute to the dedication of everyone involved.”
