A valued member of the Stockley Park security team spent 2025 working hard, completing a Leadership and Development programme with the park’s Security contract, Portal Security. Colin Kennedy has been a member of the team at Stockley Park for over 15 years and has always demonstrated a professional and calming nature for all occupiers and members of the public.
On 27th November 2025, the course culminated with a day at the spectacular Tower of London, where Colin and each of his fellow students presented to a group of invitees on what they had learned on the course and how it had changed their outlook on life and work.
Colin was supported by the Lifestyle Manager at Stockley Park, Claire Watson, who found the day motivational as well as educational.
“We always knew Colin was a special individual and a key member of the team, so it was an honour to celebrate his achievement with him. The course provided Colin with a chance to network and learn from his peers, as well as to learn from industry leaders invited by Portal Security. The Stockley Park team are all extremely proud of Colin’s achievement on the programme.”
Delivered across five immersive attendance days in multiple iconic locations around London, Portals Security’s Leadership and Development Programme was intentionally designed to stretch, support, inspire, and elevate the leaders of tomorrow. The combination of home-based learning, peer forums, guided learning, feedback, mentorship, reflection, and structured development activities created a learning experience that was both educational and academically enriching.
At its core, the purpose of the programme is clear: to build a platform for real talent to shine, give participants the knowledge, confidence, and leadership mindset to step forward and to enable emerging leaders to communicate with clarity, influence with purpose, and drive meaningful operational excellence in their roles.
The following is from the citation written by the course leaders, which describes Colin very well:
“Colin is very thoughtful, clever, proud and committed individual. He consistently constructed an articulate observation and it was encouraging that a well-formed question was always not far away, along with a keen sense of humour.”
A big well done to Colin and to all of the group who completed the programme.
