The Queen’s Green Canopy

15.11.21

Stockley Park was recently approached by Ryefield Court about planting trees as part of The Queen’s Green Canopy. The residential home, located in Uxbridge, kindly donated 10 tree saplings which will be planted in various places around the Park once they reach a healthy size. To start the project, members of the Stockley Park landscaping team and Ryefield Court gathered to plant an established Sorbus Aria tree on the estate.

The Queen’s Green Canopy is a unique tree-planting initiative created to mark Her Majesty’s Platinum Jubilee in 2022 and invites people from across the United Kingdom to “Plant a Tree for the Jubilee”.

“SPECL is proud to be partnering with Ryefield Court to plant trees for The Queen’s Green Canopy. It is a superb initiative which will bring pleasure to all”.

Aside from the lovely Sorbus Aria planted outside 4 Longwalk Road, Ryefield Court Home also kindly donated fruit trees to start our very own mini orchard, including apple and pear trees.
